Why do you not allow cursing or name calling?

Jesus Christ said in Luke 6:45, "A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which is evil; for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks."

In other words, what is in a person's heart is what comes out of their mouths. As Christians, we love and respect God. That love of God is what lives in our hearts and we yield to His guidance in our behavior every day. That does not mean we are perfect; it does mean that the ways we acted before we came to know the Lord in a personal relationship through Christ are in a constant state of "falling away" or disappearing. We have less and less desire to speak and hear foul language and to disrespect other people, even if they disagree with our beliefs or us. We ask God to help us act in the way He would act and that includes what comes out of our mouths.
